The family took care of every single detail from start to finish, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our time there. Welcoming and comfortable environment. ​Overall highly recommended.

Just like the photos, clean and comfortable with kind staff and the best shower in Sri Lanka, the breakfast was delicious and the pool awesome.

The property is even better than it looks in the photos. It is beautifully surrounded by nature, set in a lush orchard filled with mango, passion fruit, and banana trees. We loved seeing peacocks and squirrels roaming around. The pool was clean and well maintained, with plenty of natural shade from the fruit trees, making it a lovely place to relax. The owners are incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, and even the towels smelled fresh and pleasant. The breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka. It offered a wonderful mix of local sweet and savory specialties, including fresh fruit, homemade jam and butter with several types of bread, delicious egg hoppers, and excellent coffee and tea. The only thing that caught us by surprise was how wild the surrounding area is. We saw snakes, and there are electric fences designed to keep wild elephants away, as they frequently visit the area. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it’s something future guests should be aware of if they’re not used to staying so close to nature.
