Zyara Villa

Wonderful! The room was very clean and spacious, and the terrace was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Location is lovely, it takes about 5 minutes in a tuktuk to get to Sigiriya centre but there are restaurants within walking distance. The family who run Zyara villa are very kind and welcoming, we had a small issue with the shower and they were very apologetic. I would definitely stay here again!

Nothing

The host family and the neighbors were all very kind and nice and the kids were adorable. The owner was very attentive and the lady cooks very good meals. The room was very clean. Unfortunately, we had some issues with wifi and hot water. The owner tried his best to fix the problems and the wifi problem was fixed. He even gave us a nice present before our departure. I believe it will be a perfect villa when the problem with the hot shower is solved.

The hot water stopped running on the 1st and the last day. But with the money we paid, that was still a good deal.

We really enjoyed our time at Zyara Villa. The hosts were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was great, and they were happy to accommodate our individual preferences. For remote work, the setup was perfect – good internet and a desk in a nice green area made it easy to get work done. I also loved doing yoga on the rooftop terrace with views over the lake. The villa itself is well-equipped and comfortable, with warm water shower. We booked a scooter directly through the accommodation, which made it easy to get around and explore the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful stay with excellent service, whether you’re working remotely or simply relaxing. We’d love to return!
