Lakmini Lodge Sigiriya

I had such a lovely stay here in Sigiriya. The hotel is run by a wonderful, welcoming family who are always happy to help with anything you need, from local recommendations to arranging activities or transport. The view from the room and terrace is absolutely amazing, especially with Sigiriya Rock in the background, and it’s such a peaceful place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The room itself was also comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. A really warm, friendly place with beautiful views and lovely hosts. I would definitely recommend it if you’re staying in Sigiriya!

Nothing, everything was great!

The room was spacious and comfortable but the view from the rooftop where they serve was the selling point. Amazing.

Breakfast could have been different both mornings.

The property was neat and clean!

Lovely, kind, helpful hosts who went out of their way to help us. They helped us with trips to Polonnaruwa, Dambulla caves & also with our onward travel. Beautiful location, fabulous views of Sigiriya Rock from the balcony & a lovely outlook from the dining area. Delicious & substantial breakfast.

The room was in need of a little attention. The bathroom flooded every time we used the shower, the bedside lamps & rugs were stained. The bed however was comfortable, the balcony was lovely & we enjoyed our stay. Just a few changes & it would be perfect.
