Roo Mansala Boutique Villas

Lovely stay at Roo Mansala. The staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and always available whenever we needed anything, from arranging transport to assisting with any requests throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with excellent air conditioning, a great shower, and very comfortable beds. We were also upgraded free of charge to a room with an even nicer view. The common areas are lovely, especially the pool and treehouse (offering beautiful views of Sigiriya Lion Rock). The food was good, and the staff were very accommodating and flexible regarding meals. While the property is a little secluded, that’s part of its charm. It’s peaceful, surrounded by nature, and still very close to both Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rock, with easy transport options around the area.

The property is a beautiful green oasis for a relaxed stay. Lovely, well appointed rooms, a fabulous pool and delicious dining options (under cover but open air). A particular highlight is an elevated viewing platform that looks out over a lake, some jungle and one of the rocks - it has very comfortable seating and a phone so that you can order some drinks and watch the sun go down - it was fabulous!

Really lovely property, no complaints!

We had such a lovely stay at Roo Mansala and spent three nights here as part of our honeymoon. The staff really made it special - everyone was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were always happy to help arrange tuk-tuks or book trips for us, and because it’s a smaller hotel the service felt much more personal than you get at larger places. The room was fantastic, very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We felt well looked after from the moment we arrived. We’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This was an incredible place to stay whilst we were in Sri Lanka. We could not fault the staff, the property, or the meals. All of the staff were extremely kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The food was delicious and catered to our dietary needs. We even got to meet the owner of the property, who chatted with us on multiple occasions and helped us with booking taxis, tuk Tuks and tours. A special mention must also go to our waiters for the stay, Tharaka and Dimuthu. Not only were we upgraded on our room due to availability, but Dimuthu organised dinner on the balcony as a surprise for our final night. I cannot recommend Roo Mansala enough, you would be silly not to book here.
