WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all included in the price. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Ash Barn is a fantastic base for exploring Cheshire. Town: Saughall is a small village just four miles from Chester city centre. The village dates back to the Domesday Book and nowadays is home to a small selection of shops and pubs. Chester is easily accessible by car or bus and has much to offer the tourist, including excellent shopping in and around the famous Tudor 'Rows' and lovely walks along the Roman Walls, beside the River Dee and through the picturesque Grosvenor Park. Explore Chester's beautiful medieval cathedral, visit Chester Racecourse or spend a day at the world renowned Chester Zoo. Saughall is situated near to a superb road network with the A55 and M56 both nearby, making this a wonderful touring base for discovering the local area. The stunning Welsh mountains and coastline, the quaint market towns and villages of Cheshire and the Wirral Peninsula with its first class golf courses, are all within short drives, whilst frequent rail services from Chester make Liverpool, Manchester and the North Wales coast readily accessible.
