The Keon Hotel

The location was great as we wanted to be near resturants, the byward market and mall. It was very different vs. other places we've stayed because it had an interesting interior decor which was creative and I like that the beds were not side-by-side, instead each had its own area. The underbed lighting was not only cool but also made a great nightlight. The sitting area with large TV and excellent channel selection was appreciated. The amenities were great, its the first time I've enjoyed hotel room coffee with the nesspresso machine and never went out to buy coffee in the morning which saved me time. Booking doesnt mention a fridge but it has a good sized mini fridge with a separate freezer door. There is no parking on site, but there are parking lots everywhere and we found a cheap Green P parking garage a couple blocks away good for the weekend. In this area you don't need a car since everything is so close.

Lock mechanism for the room doors malfunctioned requiring a call to the staff. Television never worked . I did not call staff about the issue
