Large room; comfortable bed; excellent shared facilities such as the huge rooftop space. Easy to get into town on the bus. Good kitchen with most things you would need to make and eat simple meals. The neighbourhood was quiet at night and we didn't hear much noise from other apartments either. Helpful staff.
Some of the furniture was a little run down, i.e., the blinds were a little dusty and the lamp plug was bent so it didn't work. These things could do with an update. Also, there was only one roll of toilet paper and a small amount of soap for a one-week stay. The aircon was particularly noisy. The laundry has a minimum spend of $10+ (for the activation card) if you are a temporary guest.

The room was pleasant and clean. The location was convenient as I had to be close to Civic Hospital and it was walking distance. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.
The lock on the inside of the door was broken. The listing in booking.com indicated that parking was included in the price, but when I got to the front desk I was told it was not. That should be corrected as it was a factor in my decision.

We appreciated having our own apartment with kitchen. The unit definitely had some noticeable wear and tear, but it was clean, which mattered most to us.
There was some noticeable wear and tear throughout the unit. Overall, it reminded us of a student residence, although the finishes were a step above that. The bed was comfortable, but if you're sharing it, be aware that it transfers a lot of motion. Every time my partner turned over, it woke me up.
I'm not sure I'd stay here again - the sheer size of the building feels overwhelming and out of place, overshadowing the surrounding neighbourhood. It made me uncomfortable knowing I was supporting that kind of development.
