I liked that every space had plug ins for all kinds of devices, easily accessible. A wide desk to work at. The bedroom was very comfortable and had a bedside clock which was very much appreciated. The kitchen had uptodate appliances. Had a nice view of the residential area around the hotel. Enjoyed being able to text the hotel staff of any concerns and having them addressed promptly. And the hotel is right beside Rideau Centre, for those people that like to shop and dining in Byward market is a plus.

The room was massive and more like and apartment with two bathrooms and two separate bedrooms. So much room for everyone and the ability to cook our own meals was great. The beds were very comfortable. The proximity to downtown Ottawa was fantastic as we could walk to the Canal and Parliament builidngs and the the Rideau centre was a stone's throw away.
The proximity to the sights and activities in downtown Ottawa was fantastic but the neighbourhood was slightly sketchy. Also, on booking.com it showed that there was breakfast, but breakfast was NOT included or even offered. When we showed them the screenshot, they said it was because breakfast was available in the area. We felt that this was false advertising. We also weren't told that we had to use our room key to activate the elevator buttons which was frustrating! Maybe this is standard and we are just country folk who don't know how city elevators work!

One thing that I enjoy about the property is that I feel safe. People need a key card to access the property and use the elevator. There is also someone at the front desk at all time. This is the first time we Parked our vehicle on the property and it was very easy to get in and out of the garage.
In addition, one of the highlights of the property is the apartment size suites. It makes traveling easy.
This is our second time staying at the property. This time we were on the 19th floor. Unfortunately the bed was uncomfortable. It was a lot harder than the first time we stayed at the property. Also the bed sheets were stiff and cheaply made. Again not the same experience we had the first time we stayed at the hotel.
A few other things to note - fridge was leaking somewhere inside, always had to clean up the water; ants were found in the bathroom and only the bathroom. Which we couldn’t figure out where they were coming from. Lastly, in our kitchen we had no dishwasher pods to do the dishes. We requested some be put in our room but when we didn’t receive any we ended up going to one of the ladies who had a cart to retrieve some.
