Auberge des Arts Bed and Breakfast

What a perfect room to stay over in Ottawa. Hosts were excellent, as was breakfast. Room and en suite were all good, as this was in their vintage house.

Pierre and Chantelle were so friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to do and where to eat. The location is fantastic - walkable everywhere. They will also do laundry for you if needed. Breakfast was amazing with so many choices. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was great and with many options. Utilities of the house were everything I hoped for. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

There was no real problem. Only thing I saw is one little roach in room. The front door were in a bit rough condition.

This is truly a bed and breakfast, a century home with minimal conversion to allow for overnights stays. Owner lives next door and knows the neighbourhood. Antique furniture gives each room a unique feel and makes it feel like home ... as does the breakfast room where people chat and get tourist tips, and then often gather in the evening as well. The owner's mother also lives next door and is happy to host and make tea or coffee or chat. Owners are fully bilingual and know the city well. Breakfasts were exceptional! Cooked with love in the kitchen next door, made to order crepes or omelettes or eggs. Fruit juice and fresh fruit always available. Decent coffee. I stayed three days while clearing out furniture from a storage unit and meeting up with friends. This was an ideal place for friendliness and helpfulness (I was offered the use of bolt cutters if I couldn't open the storage unit!).

It's an older house (but very clean) so if you don't like creaking steps, well. A shared bathroom is a concern for some (but there are two).
