The Treehouse Northumberland

The location is lovely and peaceful, and the caravan is very well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed some much-needed rest and relaxation. The hosts were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend staying here.

There were no significant issues during our stay. The hot tub cover was a little damaged and the patio/decking could have done with a clean, but these were minor things and did not affect our stay at all.

Excellent location. Nicely furnished and decorated with an ideal little side garden with hot tub. Good WiFi and facilities. Comfy beds and a lovely shower.

The cover on the hot tub was ripped which was a shame because it dropped polystyrene balls into the tub when taking it off so each time we had to fish them out. Around the hot tub could have done with a little tidy up as someone who’d previously stayed had thrown beer cans and cigarettes into the hedging. There was a smell of cigarettes in the main living area upon arrival. The oven knob was broken so I had to use pliers from a drawer to turn the dial and set the temperature. But I did notice after I’d struggled with it that the microwave doubled up as a fancy mini oven as well. There was some mould on the curtains and ties in both bedrooms.

Fantastic location for sight seeing and shops, caravan immaculate, park quite and beautiful location where the caravan is situated, modern and stunning caravan.

Hot tub canopy broken and has a rip in it, worn from the weather so could do with replacing and outdoor shower not working, but apart from that absolutely perfect.

The kitchen and bathroom facility nice and modern.

Upon arrival the hottub was set to only 17c and not usable, we contacted the host who advised us the cleaner must have done something and that we could either remove some of the water, fill with hot water from the hose and up the temp ourselves and hope for the best or wait over an hour for them to come and do the same. We chose to do this ourselves rather than waiting however come 10pm the hottub was still only just at 30c, not very comfortable for a hottub especially when it’s cold outside. There were issues with both the outdoor furniture and indoor seating, very uncomfortable, in poor condition and some unusable. We advised of the extremely messy outdoor area which could’ve done with some TLC, to be told there is no point doing anything with the outside area until May as no one would be sitting outside, despite there being a hottub so the chances of someone being sat in the hottub and someone being sat outside with them are probable. We contacted the host at the end of our stay once again to advise of these issues however was simply given rudeness and sarcasm in response and told essentially we may be refunded partially for the hottub issue dependant on the review we left… I would not recommend this property.
