Was a lovely stay
Great location, lovely accommodation. Welcome package is a lovely touch.
Lots of leaves surrounding the hot tub, very slippery and having to carry the bins quite a distance wasn’t great on our exit

Lovely welcoming place. Chalet nice and big. A home from home.
2 bathrooms. Bottle of wine and chocs upon arrival. Dvd player. Hot tub (although did not use due to weather).
10am departure, as had to be up early to make breakfast and clean before departure.

It was in a good location inbetween Alnwick and Newcastle. The hot tub was also a highlight.

The hosts communication was good, the little touch of having milk and a welcome gift was a lovely and very personal. The home was really comfortable and you have everything you need within, the hot tub is a added extra bonus.

The chocolates left for us which went down a treat.
Disappointed in quality of furnishings, two coffee tables fell apart when moved, fortunately my husband was able to mend them but the dinning table was so wonky it was challenging to use. The wardrobe in main bedroom was used as a storage cupboard, so hanging space very limited,

Exceptional Hosts and an Incredible Stay
The retreat was absolutely spotless, decorated very tastefully for Christmas and very spacious. The hot tub is also amazing, the lights and enclosed fencing were great extras for the kids. Davey and Louise were fantastic hosts, they were at the end of the phone and answered so quickly when we had a query. They also left a very generous welcome hamper and fresh milk which was a lovely touch. We only booked this accommodation a few days before Christmas as we were let down by another host but we genuinely believe it was a blessing in disguise. We will definitely be back and would give 11/10 if we could!!
