Large Cottage In Prime Village Position

What a find! We just loved our break at Littlecroft and can highly recommend it to whoever wishes to visit the Alnmouth/Alnwick area. The house was very well appointed and the rooms were generous in size and probably bigger than how they look in the photos. Hosts Sasha and Margaret also left a much appreciated welcome basket with lots of goodies and fresh milk in the fridge. Alnmouth itself has everything that you could need for a short break: a well stocked grocery store, two gift shops, a Deli, a Bistro, ice-cream shop, two golf courses, a fabulous beach and five hotels/pubs all serving food (we had Sunday roast in the Sun Inn right across the street from Littlecroft and it was excellent, and also had take-away pizzas and fish suppers from the Hope & Anchor, right next door to Littlecroft).

We were a family of 7 with three teenagers and a dog. The house accommodated everyone really well.The kitchen had everything we needed and although maybe a deep clean would have improved our overall experience, it was a lovely family space. The owner provided extra hairdryers and replaced the broken dishwasher within a couple of days. We were pleased to find that the property description needs updated - to inform that the garden now has a gate, to provide security for children and dogs. We would definitely like to return.

Great house in a wonderful location. Minutes from the beach and surrounded by beautiful pubs and restaurants. The house was clean, kitchen was well stocked and the instructions from Margaret was exemplary. Checkin was easy and we were allowed to checkout later. Highly recommended.

Although the cleanliness of the property was appalling when arriving, when we got in touch with the owner there was good communication and the outcome was satisfactory. Great Location. We hired the house for our 40th wedding anniversary. Nice house but needs to sort out a decent management company.
