Very smart

Excellent location - we only book places with private car parking which this had (although you might struggle if you have a big car). The property was large and finished to a high standard. There were books, dvds and games. Loads of places to eat nearby and lots of walks.

We had to take out own wood for the fire which was a bit odd. Also, although they left us a bottle of prosecco there was no milk! After a long drive, I want a cup of tea. Luckily we had arrived early enough to pop to the shop down the road.

Just fabulous

Just set off the main street. Great pubs and eateries in the doorstep. Beautiful setting. Met Mandy who was getting the property ready for our stay. What an asset she is. Full of knowledge and so helpful. A really great short break - we will be back!

The double bed wasn’t to my liking and a little uneven in places.

Perfect bolt hole in a fabulous location

Amazing property - stunning interior and so well equipped. The location is perfect. Close to the beach & so many eating establishments nearby. Very well managed.

Nothing to really dislike & any tiny niggles cancelled out by all the postives. I struggled signing in to my Netflix account etc but most people could do it I am sure!!

So pleased we chose Alnmouth over Alnwick to stay

Lovely interior, plenty of space, nice little outside area. Nice little complex with parking. Alnmouth is a lovely place right by the sea and I'm glad we chose to stay there rather than Alnwick. If you're not fussed about a sea view it's great, I wish I'd booked a sea view though...s

The toilet's! Both were situated too close to one wall and had very narrow seats - most uncomfortable.

The temperature of shower in the on suite was a little cool and the water did go outside the shower area so we used the main bathroom instead.

Lovely and clean, beautifully decorated loved the open fire and everything you would need in the kitchen. Extra touch with the dressing gowns. Parking space provided and it's just set back from the main street so it is very handy for everything

Lovely cottage with everything you could need and more and spotlessly clean. A quiet location, even though right in the centre of Alnmouth. Very conveniently close to various pubs/restaurants. Private parking a big bonus especially when seeing the lack of empty parking spaces around Alnmouth.

Spence Cottage is right in the centre of Alnmouth, very close to the beautiful beach. The property was very clean with some nice extra touches.

Tiny little gripe, but we didn’t find the bed mattresses very comfortable.
