The View Point Northumberland

First of all the holiday park is absolutely wonderful, I highly recommend it. Great location for accessing all of Northumberland. So well kept. Lovely people, lovely views. The walk through the woods at the bottom of the park into the Swarland forest is stunning. It was perfect for taking the dog in the mornings or evenings. The chalet itself is a very lovely one. The interior is great. So nicely done out, very trendy and spacious. The view is beautiful and so nice to have a balcony. All the properties feel private and well spaced out. The beds were comfy. The bathrooms both very nice, a novelty to have a bath. My son loved the playpark, really nice for kids. There was a family festival on the Saturday we were there but received no communication about this so we didn't know about it until we got back from a day out so would of been good to be told somehow.

Do not get me wrong, this is a lovely property and I would stay here again.. but there are a few things that could be tweaked that could make our stay comfier - some of which have been mentioned before. - There were no bins in either if the bathrooms but 2 in the lounge so we moved them and no toilet brushes which I thought was strange. - Make sure you bring your own hand soap, bin bags and dishwasher tablets as none are supplied. And spare tea towels as we only had one for the whole week. - The balcony could do with a table to dine at and a umbrella for a comfier experience especially when we're experiencing a heatwave. The set outside is lovely but more of a lounging set - I think some of the utensils need improving, there was only a set of 4 knifes and forks, plates and bowls so felt like you were washing up a lot. There is only one large frying pan which wasn't good quality. - No glass wine glasses, just plastic ones and no prosecco glasses. As a bit of a wine snob, I like my wine from a real glass. - The dishwasher where you put the tablet is broken and the blind in the ensuite won't open - There isn't much information in the manual, lots of tourists info but very little about bin emptying, how to work things etc.

Lovely location with great walks around the grounds. Surprisingly large for a mobile home, with a great view and comfortable outdoor seating. Well equipped kitchen which was very clean. Great lounge area and it was a treat to have two bathrooms… both with good showers. I liked that it was close enough to lots of tourist spots but far enough away to escape the crowds.

I found the fabric conditioner used in bedding / towels to be very strong, as lots of people have allergies maybe reduce the quantity being used? I’m from Canada….. so may be a Canadian thing 😂

Property in good (end plot) location at Percy Wood. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable & well maintained. Grandchildren loved it (5 & 3 yrs old boys). Good space for them to play outdoors & safe.

Really poor wi-fi / non-existent at times. Would be really good with small cleaning pack available - dishwasher tablets / cleaning cloths / kitchen towel / etc. Bit sparse on plates & glasses. Poor comms from the host to messages. Overall ok.

Location was good

Very dirty around the edges of whole property. Under the couch cushions hadn’t been cleaned for quite some time. WiFi was pointless having as nothing would work. Cracked/broken bits in the kitchen.
