Accommodation clean & functional - ideal for our requirements - pub was very good with excellent food & very good staff - always friendly & chatty - management have done a stellar job in a relatively short time & would have no hesitation in booking again if in the area

Absolutely top class Beautiful property in a gorgeous location, extremely friendly and professional hosts and a fantastic pub/restaurant next door The room we had (4) was spotless on arrival, very comfy king size bed with excellent quality bedding, plenty of tea, coffee etc (and biscuits which is always a bonus) space for hanging and storing clothes and a good sized tv. Bathroom has a good sized powerful walk in shower, loo and sink again spotless. The couple who own/run the pub/properties are extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us,fresh towels etc were available at any time on request. The pub/restaurant is lovely and again spotless, every member of staff we encountered was very friendly and professional and the customers all seemed lovely too. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast has to be pre-ordered the evening before which is fine and I have to say it was delicious, clearly using top quality produce and they have someone who knows what to do with it. Evening meal, we had the venison madras which was served with wild rice, saag paneer and a tomato relish & the five bean veggie chilli served with wild rice, guacamole and cheese.  Both dishes were served promptly and the presentation was lovely.  The chilli was flavoursome and there was a good sized portion, the curry again flavoursome, personally I think would benefit from a little spice just to elevate it slightly, but that's not to everyone's taste. Both of the meals were delicious and again the staff attentive and friendly. All in all we have had a lovely few days here and would definitely stay again if in the area. Highly recommended.

The please is local very convenient and quiet even though it’s attached to a pub, the bed was comfortable and had extra heater in the room. The staff are extremely friendly the meals in the pub are absolutely amazing and not expensive. Plenty of choice. Having a stool in one of the bathrooms or grab rail would be amazing we bring our own

The shower didn’t work very well and was only Luke warm, they could do with an extra shelf in the bathroom or hanger to hang your towel. The room was not cleaned once while we stayed there in four days we emptied bins and bought tea coffee etc,
