Clare House

Price was good, location was great for us (close to the A11, and our eventual destination, Snetterton circuit), and the room was clean and neatly laid out. Microwave and fridge in the room (although no crockery or cutlery)

The walls between rooms were paper thin, which means we could hear every conversation and sound from the next-door room's occupants! Toilet roll holder missing, shower fan not working. Fridge in room was empty and noisy (right next to bed!) and there was no bedside table. Hair dryer was included in the room, but the 240v outlets were in the wrong places, so you couldn't use the hairdryer at the mirror, which was fixed to the dresser. Also, the kettle's lead was too short, meaning it didn't reach the outlet with the kettle on top of the fridge or microwave. So if you wanted to boil the kettle, you had to do so with it on the floor.

I made the booking online, which was easy. I attended the Crown Hotel, to collect my room key, but this had already been left at Clare House. I had an excellent meal in the Crown, before going to Clare House. The room was spacious,clean and well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable. Check out was easy, just leave the key.

Nothing to dislike
