Lovely clean hotel, lovely location staff very nice

Lovely location next to the river next to a pub and good parking

The room that we had was for four people and I would say the room was a little bit too small for four people. We had three people in the room and it was a little bit cramped and not much storage space for four people or in our case three

Stay at the Bridge Hotel exceeded my expectations and I was very well looked after by the Bridge team.

A very nice stay, with delicious breakfast, but a little pricey.

The room was spacious and clean. The tea and coffee making facilities were good and the biscuits were nice. The ensuite bathroom was nice, and in particular the shower was spacious, water pressure was excellent and temperature was great! The bed was large and comfortable! The breakfast was also excellent! The pastries, cooked breakfast and fruit salad (which was very fresh) were delicious! The staff were all friendly, from check-in to breakfast.

It was a little chilly in the breakfast room (we visited in November). On our first morning, the only tables with cutlery on were by the window that was ajar, so it was a bit cold there. That said, we were well wrapped up and we probably could have just moved our cutlery closer to the radiator. The walls are a little thin, but this didn't really both us too much.

On arrival staff very helpful and we were upgraded to the main part of the hotel. Room was cleaned daily and was lovely when we went in very clean and vibrant staff very helpful when we left so will definitely be booking again when we visit didnt have breakfast so cant comment on that plenty of plugs

I needed a room for the night which it satisfied, but should havebeen much cheaper

The room was a good standard, and en suite was new and clean

No lounge, or meals apart from breakfast no staff apart from greeting on arrival and at breakfast, so not really a hotel, more an apart hotel. Coffee maker didn't work Too close to the station felt vibrations when trains went through

Close to where we needed to be

Room was very basic and in need of redecoration. We stayed in the building separate from the main hotel. My parent’s room was better and they were happy with theres. The quality of the ingredients for the cooked breakfast could also have been better.

lovely welcoming place to stay

Lovely independent hotel, Silvia was incredibly accommodating, room was lovely with a huge comfortable bed and lovely view of the river. Breakfast was delicious as we weren’t expecting a full English breakfast to be cooked fresh for us and then we had a lovely little ride on a swan pedalo down the river !

Poor facilities, and no notification were transferred to an annex 400yds away.

Not a lot really, stayed in property that was not what I booked.

The property was an annex to the main building, and some 400 yds away . Just not acceptable, when confirmed we were staying in main building, I knew of no annex.

it was clean

very noisy on the busy road edge. We could actually feel the ground shake when Lorries went over . I thought when i had booked that the hotel was on the river , as it was an evening before my daughters wedding, that would have been more pleasant to enjoy the views where as in their other hotel over the bridge in the pink building , we couldn’t open blinds because pedestrians , drivers by could see in .

Very helpful and pleasant staff. Breakfast was lovely with any combination of a full English, down to a sausage sandwich, all good. Room was a nice size, comfortable and clean. A nice stay for three nights.

Nice, but the annex wasn’t very quiet.

It was clean, spacious room. Was great for the one night stay.

It was so close to the main road with so much road noise all night that we could hardly sleep. The shower was luck warm, most likely as we were last to use it but still a shame.

Not good and would definitely not book again especially using Booking.com

Location

We were put in ‘the annex’ (separate building to main hotel) purely because we booked through booking.com which obviously doesn’t work in your favour! Walked through owners garden to get to it initially which was a shambles! Did not feel safe there at all and hardly slept for this reason. Met other people at the hotel who were also put there because of booking through Booking.com (not told this until too late to change booking and go elsewhere) they complained and were reluctantly moved. Location was great and obviously the pictures supplied were of the nice views of the river and I can only assume the rooms of the main building
