Apartment in the old town of Florence

Great location. Very safe, you need to unlock 5 doors to get to your apartment. Lift isn't very reliable as its very old.

Francesca is an amazing host! She met us at the door and helped sort out which keys go to which door, how to use the elevator, and answer any questions we had. She also came by the next day and set up a couple of fans to help with airflow - Florence suddenly got very warm just that week, so nobody was quite prepared. The location is unreal. You walk out and turn left, and there's the Duomo. On your way to get your morning cappuccino, there's a store (tabacchi) right down the street that has a full cafe. Take advantage of this - other tabacchi (convenience stores usually) don't have this. So we have perfect espresso and pastries within 50m of the front door. You are right in the heart of Old Town. It truly, doesn't get any better.

The apartment doesn't have a ceiling fan (none of them do), so airflow is tough. With a floor fan, however, it worked out pretty nicely. Also, you need 5 keys for 5 doors to get in, which is a little strange, but not terrible.

Solo la ubicación

La distribución, la decoración, los muebles. La cama matrimonial estaba pegada a la pared en la cabecera y en un lateral, el que dormía del lado de la pared no podía entrar. Además de pequeña y con almohadas duras. No se podía dormir. El placard estaba lleno de mantas y cosas, no había donde acomodar nuestra ropa. El “living” era del tamaño del pasillo, el sillón era una cama single. En realidad, era una parte de un departamento grande, que le habían agregado un baño y una cocina.
