We loved staying in the old town! The beauty of walking around those winding small rues et traverses. The charm of this - we would not have traded that for any AC in the world (we had a fan)! Our host was also very quick to respond and help when we had some issues, thank you! Also, the closeness to the beach made it just so easy to go for a morning and evening swim. When almost all of France had around 35-40 degrees (C), we had a nice, sunny weater with about 28-30 degrees. We would definitely stay here again!
Sometimes a bit warm in the apartment if you didn't stay close to the (excellent!) floor fan, but hey, what can you expect going to southern France in the summer ;-).
