Clean and comfortable apartment in old town of Menton.

Lovely clean comfortable apartment in Menton old town. Good kitchen facilities. Also had washing machine. Very close to the lovely beach -2 streets back. Host responded promptly.

Just a reminder like all apartments in old towns has very steep steps up to the apartment.

Cosy home

The location was in the old town which was very picturesque. Beach very nice close to restaurants. Comfortable home for 2 people we were 3 with daughter sleeping on sofa bed which meant no space to relax. Host was very nice and helpful and we had prompt communication at all times. She even came to collect us on arrival in Menton as we got lost. Overall a pleasant stay thankyou Cecile.

The train station is quite a walk away although only a 4 min drive but no taxis around to meet travellers at the station so you have walk to the property. Word to the wise you need to be very fit as there are some very steep narrow deep stairs to the apartment. A good walk to the beach via steep narrow deep stairs or if you go further down there are wider stairs to take. So good fitness is required.

Should have been a day trip and not to stay over. Did not enjoy the apartment and noice.

Interesting area. A music festival at the time so we had some entertainment.

This apartment is a rabbit hole. After carrying our luggage up and down the steep and uneven stairs, I thought I will need knee and back surgery. But bear in mind, this is how more or less most apartments and houses are in this area. Also, be prepared to walk a mile on a steep hill to dispose of your garbage. Some photos and text about this could help people make the decision and not have such surprises. The portable AC unit is quite loud. But get used to it and keep it on at all times. The constant noise will especially help you sleep. If not, the neighbouring apartments are so close with no soundproofing, you basically hear everything that is going on. However, some sounds could be entertaining if you are suffering from insomnia. One day a man decided to bring down his steel barth tub and demolish or change its shape with a steel hammer. The sound was so excruciating, that I still have nightmares. The bed was terrible and the sofa could only fit half of me. Fortunately, it was a sofa bed, so we used the sofa bed in the kitchen to sit, sleep etc. I felt like I am in a dorm room and not a holiday apartment.

Magnificent Modern Menton, we loved it.

Beautiful new apt in a great location in Menton old town. Easy (no steps) walk to the centre of town for shopping/ restaurants and main beach. The apt is pristine inside, very modern with everything you require for a perfect stay. The air con was great and made our stay complete. The most outstanding part to this experience is the genuine kind host Cecile. She was a great communicator and very kind and knowledgeable on the area. Even Michelle, the lady downstairs is a joy to meet and is helpful with advice etc. We have stayed for a months in the region and this was our favourite accommodation by far. Congratulations Cecile you have done a great job .! We will return next year x.

Tout était parfait. Appartement cosy, propre, bien situé (toute la ville de Menton se fait à pieds), bien équipé et Cécile et Michelle sont au TOP pour l’accueil, la réactivité par rapport aux demandes, la gentillesse.

Mentone e’ una località piacevole.

Ambienti puliti e nuovi, non trovate tovagliette o runner su cui appoggiare i piatti.

Il parcheggio è un costo aggiuntivo e distante .Nell annuncio e nei filtri su Booking l alloggio appare con parcheggio. Modificherei questo aspetto così come riportato e’ fuorviante. Luogo scomodo per chi ha bagagli ( scale irte e non facilmente raggiungibile).

La posizione centrale dell’appartamento, la doccia ampia e confortevole

La biancheria da letto, lenzuola sotto e federe non pulite come se fossero state già utilizzate prima del nostro arrivo e non sostituite, lenzuolo sopra mancante e copri piumino non fresco di bucato. Avevo chiesto se ci fosse un parcheggio in zona e solo dopo aver lasciato la macchina al parcheggio consigliato, la signora che ci ha accolto ci ha detto che aveva la tessera per tariffa convenzionata. Spesi 24 euro invece che 14. Non è un problema ma sarebbe stato corretto comunicarlo prima

Belle decouverte

Très beau petit appartement dans la vieille ville. Bien rénové et bien équipé. Vous pouvez tout faire a pied sur menton et également vous rendre jusqu'à la gare pour visiter les villes alentours. Attention toutefois cet appartement n'est pas accessible à toutes personnes, les marches sont abrupts. Nous avons été très bien accueilli.

Appartement avec vue sur un mur...on est effectivement en plein cœur du vieux Menton et ça c est Top. Par contre clostrophobe s abstenir car on ne voir même pas le ciel et qd on a pas l habitude c est un peu angoissant !

L'accueil personnalisé et très chaleureux, un logement ultra propre décoré avec élégance où l'on se sens bien. Les commerces de proximité , rue piétonne marchande, et les Halles avec parking.Nous avons pu accéder au logement puis aller visiter Menton et aller à la fête du citron à pieds sans problème Nous avons pu aussi profiter de la plage et du port . Notre meilleur souvenir de vacances Merci à Cécile et Michèle
