Studios - Menton Old Town - near the beach and shops

Great location in the centre of the old town near the beaches and the restaurant/ shops. Comfortable place to stay for a short visit to Menton. Kitchen area small but able to cook a decent meal if you want to eat in.

The fact that there was no fresco on the ceiling and that not everything was clean (crumbs on the table, dirty plate, dirty pan)

Studio situato in pieno centro, quindi in posizione ideale per spostarsi comodamente. Fornito di quasi tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole.

Sarebbe stato un valore aggiunto trovare delle capsule per la macchina del caffè, altrimenti la sua presenza risulta poco utile. Per la lavatrice sarebbe stato comodo avere anche il detergente. Suggerirei inoltre di aggiungere dei ganci alla porta del bagno per poter appendere gli asciugamani. Nel complesso, esperienza positiva.

The location is great. In the old town close to all attractions and 20 mins walk away from the main train Station. There is a washing machine that we didn't use. A coffee machine though no coffee capsules provided.

The room doesn't have an air conditioner (wrong description on booking). It was really hot and humid and hard to cool down even at night. The ventilators were rather weak and didn't help unless you stick to them. The bed sheets had spots on them. They didn't feel or smell clean, same goes for the towels. The general cleanliness was lacking. Hair and dust on the floor, the vacuum cleaner was not emptied. We had to wash the silverware before using it because it didn't look clean. The pillows deflate as soon as you lay on them and are uncomfortable to sleep on. The matress was too hard for our preference. The shower takes some getting used to. The water is either hot or cold. Took us 2 days to figure out the perfect "spot". Good water pressure though. The outer part of the window was broken and a hassle to open and close. The inner part has an old mechanism and took alot of effort and guesswork to close. The old window and the good location make the room loud at night, but nothing that good earplugs can't fix.
