Great place to stay when I’m back in Ubud always come back here

Came to work but ended up fully rested
Room: Spacious, bed is good. The distance between top and bottom bunks is wider than usual. The top bed has good rail length so it's not that scary if you get that one. It's got a mini shelf on the wall, a light, socket. Very comfy bed, duvet, and pillow. There's a big Aircon, and even if it's off, it's still cool inside. Everything inside is well-maintained.
Shared bathroom + comfort room: they have one for each. Especially the shower room, it is bigger, and has shower and shampoo gels. The rest room has lots of tissues.
Breakfast is okay. They don't offer anything else aside from that.
Lovely owner and his family. They've got lots of dogs toooooo
No outside shoes inside policy. They have bar stands where you can hang your few wet clothes or raincoats.
It's not allowed to do laundry inside but there's a nearby laundry shop (laundry+press) that can do it for you.
There's the Why Not restau and bar in front of the hostel which has a very good vibe, playlist, and drink options.
I thought the common room for dining is gonna be spacious. My dorm is 6-bed and if we're fully booked, only 3 can eat in front of the dorm. Although it's a small veranda outside each dorm, it's designed to chill in a garden vibe. There's still area next to it for others to sit and eat.
For some reason, the wifi wouldn't connect to my laptop.
I thought the lockers are included but there's a deposit for using one. You can opt out if you don't want to anyway.
The place is kinda tricky to find but just look for the Why Not bar and the hostel is just on its left. The convenience store, the restau bar and the hostel is just in 1 compound.

Great value for money! Loved the breakfast
For the price, it's an excellent choice. The setup is simple but it works. Breakfast was really good. Well above what I expected. The rooms were cleaned every day, smelled good and felt fresh. Room was big too and there is lots of space between the bunk beds which is nice when you're sharing between 6 people. It's nice that the room has a massive window and glass door, so it's well lit during the day and it doesn't feel like you're in a stuffy box. Location is 10 out 10. However, it's a small setup by a bar that plays music every night. So it's not a quiet chill out type of place. It's lively and it does feel like you're living in an Indonesian household haha which I loved.
The only issue with my stay was an old man snoring very loud in my room the whole night, so I will definitely book the female only dorm next time. This place doesn't have a seating area apart from small tables outside the room, so I spent most of the days out and about. Not a problem, just something to consider.

A very lovely stay at Pondok Tis Bisma
I really enjoyed my stay at Pondok Tis Bisma. The dorm room was cleaned everyday. Nice spacious shower room with good pressure. Gede and his team were lovely, and made delicious breakfast every morning. The bed space was comfortable. The hostel is right next to the pub/restaurant that had a different band playing every evening and a minimart so I really liked that it was lively.
Great location to walk every where. Close to Ubud Palace with lots of eateries around.
There is a lovely gluten free cafe very close to the dorm, and I was so happy to have stumbled upon a little ice cream shop that had delicious gluten/dairy free ice cream along Jalan Bisma.
I will be back :)

🌿 Such a lovely place!
The hostel is new, clean, and cozy. There are 6 beds in the room — one female dorm and one mixed. Everything feels very fresh and well maintained.
😊 The staff are simply amazing — always smiling, kind, and helpful. Gede, who speaks English very well, was always around both in the morning and evening and helped with everything I needed. The rest of the team was also very friendly and created a warm atmosphere.
🧹 Cleanliness is 10/10! They clean every day and even make the beds. The mattresses are soft and comfortable, each bed has its own light and small shelf. With a 50,000 IDR deposit, you get a personal locker box in the room — very safe and convenient. The air conditioner works perfectly.
🚿 The shower was one of the best I had in Bali! There’s strong water pressure and real hot water — not just warm, but properly hot if you want. You can easily adjust the temperature, and it feels amazing after a long day exploring.
🍳 Breakfast is included, and you can choose from several options. My favorite was the sunny side eggs, but the banana pancakes were also super delicious! They usually serve some fruits and mint on the side, and during breakfast they ask if you’d like tea or coffee — a nice touch. There’s also a small station where you can refill your water bottle anytime and have tea or coffee throughout the day.
🐕 When I first arrived, there were several dogs near the entrance. Luckily, they were busy eating, but sometimes they bark at new guests. If you’re afraid of dogs, it’s good to know in advance.
🎒 If you arrive before check-in, you can safely leave your luggage — there’s a space for that. The hostel also offers tours. I joined the Mount Batur Sunrise Tour for 350,000 IDR, and it was a 10/10 experience for the price. Everything was well organized, even though we didn’t reach the lvery top.
📶 The only downside is that the Wi-Fi isn’t very fast — good enough for chatting on WhatsApp, but not for uploading videos or working online.

The cleanest hostel I have ever stayed
This is the best hostel I've ever slept in Bali. The hostel is incredible clean. You can see that the hostel has recently been renovated. A comfortable bed and a very good breakfast with fresh fruit. The hostel staff is incredibly nice. In a good location in the center of Ubud. 10/10 additional attraction are wonderful dogs;) I will come back here for sure.

Hostel yang baru dibuka ini seperti rumah halaman tradisional Beijing, dengan halaman kecil. Selain kurangnya area umum yang layak dan jaraknya yang jauh dari halte bus, tidak banyak masalah lain yang dihadapi. Kamar mandinya luar biasa luas; rasanya bisa muat lima orang dewasa dengan tinggi 1,8 meter. Staf resepsionis semuanya anak muda yang sangat ramah. Ini adalah pengalaman mandi air panas ternyaman yang saya rasakan sejak tiba di Ubud; saya sangat senang telah check out dari hostel lain dan menginap di hostel ini!

Sin duda el mejor hostel compartido de todos los que he probado en Indonesia, por su relación calidad-precio, instalaciones nuevas, desayuno bueno y abundante, personal muy amable y cercano y ubicación perfecta. N’hésitez plus
Les chambres sont récentes. J’étais dans le dortoir femme : il y 6 lits. Contrairement à certains autres hostels, les lits ne font pas de bruit quand on monte sur celui du haut. La douche est vraiment très grande avec le luxe d’avoir une douchette fixe et une douchette mobile. Il y a une petite tablette pour poser ses produits. Le wc est indépendant et le lavabo a un plan de travail suffisamment grand pour poser ses produits aussi. Il y a des casiers (caution 50000 roupies rendue en partant). C’est très propre. Les propriétaires sont supers sympas. Le petit déjeuner était bon (la pancake à la banane était un régal et très grande). La guesthouse est quasi en face du Café des artistes : il y a un panneau avec le nom mais qui peut être caché par des pancartes, ce qui ne permet pas de trouver de suite l’entrée (c’est dans une maison balinaise). Je recommande à 100%

Une auberge correcte en plein centre
Les dortoirs sont très propres, le ménage est fait tous les jours. L’emplacement est à deux pas du centre, bien que calme (sauf les soirs de live music dans le bar d’à côté). Le personnel est très gentil et répond à toutes vos demandes. Le petit déjeuner a plusieurs options, j’ai adoré le pancake à la banane et il était vraiment copieux. Il y a mart et une laundry juste à côté
Il n’y a pas vraiment d’espace communs, à part 2/3 tables sur les terrasses. Le petit déjeuner est très long à être servie ( prévoir vraiment large si vous avez un taxi ou rdv )

La ubicación está muy bien. En frente hay un restaurante sin gluten así que para celíacos y tal, una maravilla.
Yo me tenía que ir antes del desayuno y me lo preparó igualmente.
Hay lockers en las habitaciones.
