Location was great, nearby to train station and 10mins walk to bustling areas. Room was big and spacious, bathroom also big enough. Cherry on top was that we got the ground floor room which had access to the back lawn, couldn't ask anything more that that. And then overall the stay was perfect because of Peter, he is a wonderful host and a kind soul, he gave us pick up and drop off to the train station which helped quite a bit since we had 2 luggage. I would visit York again just to hang out with Peter and stay at his place.
Some road closure is there because of National Railway Museum due to which 5 min walk turns into 10-15 min, minor inconvenience, nothing major.

Peter è stato un PERFETTO padrone di casa, ci è venuto a prendere un stazione e ci ha riaccompagnate. Gentile e premuroso. Quartiere tranquillissimo, Stanza pulita e con tutto il necessario. Consigliatissimo.

Good value single room with shared bathroom. Breakfast is not provided.
Good location for the Railway Museum, station and city centre.
Convenient access with a key safe.
It had everything I needed for an overnight stay. For a longer stay I would probably want additional facilities (e.g. kitchen/breakfast)

Great location for getting into town. Tea, coffee and fridge in room were a great addition.
