Stableside at York Racecourse

there was enough parking, staff was excellent, breakfast could have been better, there was no Croissants second day for the kids to have, they can improve on there bakery items at breakfast, overall good experience..

Very pleasant staff throughout. Clean room and facilities. Convenient parking, WiFi worked fine.

Parking available and easily walkable to the main road with regular buses into York centre Great breakfast Only complaint would be the sound proofing of the rooms and cleaning early morning that disturbed us

I love this hotel. It is probably my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in. I just love all the horse stuff. I loved that we stayed in the Roaring Lion room and got to read all about his history and have horse pictures on the wall. We loved what we saw of the grounds. We googled Roaring Lion and the poor boy died of cholic at age 4. We would like to see the other rooms as well. This hotel was wonderfully quiet. It was bliss to sleep through the night (compared to London). The staff were so nice and helpful. I recommend this hotel highly especially if you love horses.
