We were very disappointed with several aspects of our stay and will not stay there next time we are in Coventry. Firstly, after several phone calls and messages that were not answered by anyone at all. We did not get any instructions re the door codes and we were left waiting in the street. We phoned repeatedly but we had no reply at all .The emergency number is a big joke and we did not know what to do. After about 20 mins a man came to the property and we asked him how we could get into the place. His name was Ben and he said he was a maintenance worker and there to do some work. He proceeded to give us the codes. If he had not appeared we would not have been able to get into the place and that is a disgrace. We tried to call that emergency number but we could not understand a word that was said .We found the room very clean and tidy and the facilities were good too. However, we only had 2 stools that we could not use ,no table top and we had to sit on the bed to have our meals etc. We kept tripping up over a loose carpet strip and messaged you several times. It took you 3 days to fix the carpet strip but you refused our request for 2 suitable chairs. We really expected better service from you & I got fed up of sending messages to you and trying to reach that emergency number. Our week got off on the wrong foot and we were thinking of finding another place to stay. In plain words , you left us alone and that is very poor indeed. Yours disappointedly, Mr & Mrs Frederick Chatland . (I am 80 and my wife is 70 and we could not use those stools at all )
