Nothing much really

The fact that the property they made us sleep in is not the property listed they run another one on Seagrave road 1 and I think that has to be a breach of some kind to list both under one address also there were silverfishes at the property which is not the best sight when you wake up bitten everywhere in the morning

Avoid at all costs

Reed the reviews people because what happened to us should not happen to anyone. As soon as we walked in we noticed that the room is nothing like the pictures posted. I noticed black hair on the bedsheets and one towel only. After I investigated the bedding I realised there were many old stains on the bedding and the pillowcases were still wet. I had to put my T-shirt for a pillow case as I was not feeling comfortable to stay in there but I know it’s not refundable and we were too tired to relocate. The bed is a diy bed and the mattress very uncomfortable. Later on we realised that the bedding must have been in the rain, because the following morning we saw another duvet just drying half way on the floor and half on the fence itself. Of course as many mentioned, there was no toilet roll apart from 1/4, clearly used by others (disgusting). Hair in the bathroom as soon as you walk in that you can’t miss it. Half broken and rusty shower head with barely enough hot water for one person to shower. The screen they provide is filthy and the doors in the house was constantly shutting making a lot of noise at all times in the night. We also had to speak to someone that seems to be living there to keep quiet. Lastly, we had to chase him for the check in details. I did not experience anything like this before.

I need my refund because I was never let in

I didn’t like anything about this property. Firstly I got there they was no one to let me in . The key code I was given was wrong . I tried numerous times to call the number on the site to no avail. I banged on the window where I was told by one of the residents that the care taker was sleeping but no answer. I was there for good 2 hours ringing and trying the key code that was given but no success. This happened at 12 midnight in -10 degrees till about 2am when I finally gave up and slept in the car with the engine on.

I like nothing about this place. Customer service was awful shambles. I got given the wrong or false key code and no one to attend to me in freezing weather and midnight. All I wanted was just a place to sleep the night and carry on with my work the next day day.

The rom was chilling cold as the heating was either off from the main source or out of order. I was literally shivering of cold. No kettle tea/coffee facility. Moreover toilet flush was broken

Last resort

Room was good size, had TV, wardrobe, desk and chair.

Firstly, the staff gave me check-in instructions very late. Lucky as I was travelling and reached late but still had to wait about 20 mins. Secondly, the address on the booking is wrong as I was given the room in the next property, door no 52 instead of 54. They say, its all managed bu them, then why are you not declaring that. Thirdly, the pictures on the ad do not depict the room given. Fourth, there is limited number of cars that can park on the drive and street parking is controlled and you may not find any parking on the street as most of the houses on that street got dropped kerbs. Fifth, there was no toilet roll in the toilet, had to get it myself. And had a stinking rug in there. Sixth, the shower head had seen good days, its dirty, couldn't figure out if I was cleaned or dirtier after taking the shower. Seventh, the toilet flush leaks after flushing. Need a new flush system in the cistern. All the above and much more, do not take it as criticism but try and overcome these mini shortfalls and you may have a great potential! There are people like me who travel and stay away from home for work purposes and at the least provide what you say on your ad. If I was with family, I surely would have walked out.

Be careful, this property is a scam is dirty and disgusting, bedsheets were dirty, host unresponsive, kitchen dirty, spider webs everywhere and host doesn’t want to give me a refund even I didn’t stay at thsi place even one night

Wouldn’t recommend as the host did not seem interested in the fact someone had booked a nights stay fraudulently.

This stay was booked via a scam, where our card details were used to pay for a nights stay. The host was contacted immediately and made aware, it is unclear if anyone stayed at the property, we did ask for communication if anyone arrived and we would have expected the host to decline entry. We have heard nothing, but the payment has still been processed.

Cannot comment other than it is accommodation that will process and not refund a fraudulent payment when they are fully aware of the situation.

Disappointed

The bed was very comfortable, however it wasn't a double bed as described on the website. The room was clean and tidy.

I had great difficulty getting the key code to get into the property from the owners of the property. I had to call them twice to get the key code and did not get the key code until 19.40, which is not good enough when you could check into the property from 15.00. The photos on the website of the accommodation did not match the actual property booked. The property we stayed at was much more basic and not reflective of the photos posted on booking. com. This is very poor practice and I was very disappointed that the property didn't match the website photos at all. There were no toiletries, or slippers in the room as described on the website.

Awful, I would not book again

There was very little to like other than the price

I had to chase the owner for the entry code which even then was delivered past the check in time. I got a message from the owner saying it was my job to chase the code even though he promised to send it before check in! No tea making facilities in the room as was promised. The walls were dirty, hand towel stained, the bed very uncomfortable, no parking as promised and the drains in the bathroom stunk

A very fair reasonable price for the property

The place I booked was full when I turned up at 5pm. I was taken to a different property of theirs 3 minutes car journey away, a small room with no bathroom, the small bathroom was upstairs.

Abolutely nothing

This property is situated in the middle of what appears to be a very rough housing estate, I was absolutely shocked when I arrived. The room was off a shared kitchen, tiny, just big enough for a double bed pushed up against the wall and a desk. The bathroom was off the bedroom, the shower cabinet was none too clean with black mould on the glass. The kitchen was filthy, the hob was covered in grease, there was a big open box full of rubbish, loads of washing being dried in the corner, the floor was filthy. A total misrepresentation by the owners who I have since contacted to get a refund but of course have not received a reply from them.

It’s cheap if you’re just looking for a place for one night - basically a house share. The room is decent sized and everything you need.

The sink is built into the toilet which is off putting. Feels like I’d be drinking toilet water so I bought bottled water. Stairs are very steep.

We were told we could check in from 3 o’clock, we got there at 10 past 3 only for the room not to be ready. We were sat in a very untidy and dirty kitchen for 45 minutes waiting for our room to be ready. We then were stalled actually settling in our room because the guy had to arrange the payment which took around 10 more minutes. The room wasn’t the cleanest, some dirty flip flops were left over and there were dirty cups and coffee marks on the desk. The toilet door also had a triangle cut out of it so you could see right through it and the bottom of the wardrobe was thick with dust.

Dingy bedsit. Can hear every sound in the building. No tv to drown the sound. Small. 🍫 or dirt on bedsheet. Stayed for 5 minutes, felt that uncomfortable we had to leave. Was refused refund, even though we expressed our concerns. Would be fine if you were black out drunk and was somewhere to rest your head. Still wouldn't return even if that was the case.
