Beautifully designed apartment with a unique artistic style. We loved the owner’s artwork and the gallery downstairs. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the location was excellent.
I was a little worried about the tall staircase at the apartment entrance, since we were with a small child and had to make sure she didn't wander near it on her own.

We stayed in the top floor of the apartment and loved it. A brilliant and huge (shared) kitchen with lots of appliances and generous amounts of staple foods (free rice, free drinks, free eggs, free cooking basics). Merlin was super helpful with restaurant recommendations and also came with me to drop off our bags at ‘hands free’ service. Also an amazing bonus was the beautiful view opposite our rooms of the huge rows of temples. All in all a brilliant and large place to stay.

L'accueil, la facilité d'entrée dans le logement et la possibilité de partir et fin de journée et de profiter de notre dernière journée à Kyoto sans les bagages. C'est une maison équipée à la japonaise qui diffère du style aseptisé Ikea que l'on rencontre le plus souvent.
Je n'avais pas compris que la cuisine était partagée mais nous étions seul dans la maison donc cela n'a pas posé de problème.
