Konayuki Inn Machiya 粉雪の宿 6min walk from Kyoto St

I had an incredible experience staying at this house. It exudes a genuine Kyoto charm that's truly remarkable. The view of the park outside the windows was breathtaking, with lush greenery creating a serene atmosphere. The convenience of having two bathrooms was a real plus. And taking a relaxing bath on the first floor while gazing out at the courtyard was the perfect way to unwind. The location was a delightful surprise; being able to walk to Kyoto Station made getting around incredibly convenient. The house also provided ample space for luggage, and the ambiance of wood and greenery all around truly encapsulated the essence of Kyoto. It was an exceptional Kyoto experience, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil and convenient stay in the city.

The house has a lot of charm and offers enough space for a family of 5. It is easy to reach from the train station. You hear the trains passing by but not in a disturbing way (the noise of the cicadas in the morning beats everything!). The contact persons were quite available and very helpful.

The house is presented has having 3 rooms but 2 of them (located in the 1st floor) are actually a single big room (no door in-between). The kitchen has few kitchen items; as a consequence it is not easy to cook a meal for several persons. By the way, only 4 chairs are provided. No instructions in English to use the washing machine and the instructions about how to open the main door were incomplete. We could not enter the house when we arrived. Luckily we were able to send an email via booking (the telephone number provided can not be used from a mobile phone...) and the persons who manage the house reacted immediately.

駅近！東大寺も徒歩5分ほどでした！夜のライトアップも気軽に行けました！ 駅近と大通りの側ですが電車や車の音はそんなに気になりませんでした。繊細な人は耳栓必要だと思います！ 一棟貸しということで出入りの時間を気にせず動けるのがストレスフリーです🎵

バスタオルなど用意されてるタオル全般、繊維がめちゃ付きます💦 顔の保湿などする前に一度手を洗わないと顔が繊維まみれになります。 ご時世的に手を洗う場所にペーパータオルがあると良かったなと思います。手を拭く時ペーパータオル派の人は持って行った方が良いと思います。 あとケトルが設備でありますが、ホットを飲むためのマグがなく…用意されている耐熱グラス(取手無し)でアチアチ言いながら飲みました笑
