We loved everything 😁 Beautiful traditional home, lovely location, easy for walking out. House was very clean and had additional items like kimonos, toiletries, slippers & bottled water. Check in & out was simple. Very comfortable for our group of 6 adults 🥰

Location is excellent - only a few minutes walk from Kyoto station and on a nice quite and quaint street

We booked this place as it has 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 9 people. We are a family of 5 and stated the ages of the children on the booking. When we turned up we were told they would only make up 4 beds (and when I say beds I mean mattresses on the floor) and that our 5 year old would have to sleep with us otherwise we needed to pay another 2,000 yen for them to make up an extra mattress (crazy!). When booking a place with 4 bedrooms for 5 people you kind of expect you would have 5 beds available for your usage however this is not the case at Rinn. It also does not say this anywhere on the booking information- we would not have booked if we had known that we would need to sleep with our 5 year old! Anyway we complained that it was misleading and they agreed to waive the 2,000 yen but just a warning to others that this might happen to them too. The other thing is the washer/dryer is completely useless. Would be on for 3hr cycle and then had to run about another 2 x 3hr cycles just to get the clothes dry
