Simple, basic, close to station

I really like how it was near the station but didn't feel like it was in a crowded area, it was also right next to Higashi Honganji. The breakfast(Japanese) was really good and the facilities were all very nice.
The only problem would be that I wasn't sure how to stop light from getting in through the windows. With Japan's early summer sunrise, I kept waking up early from the light.

kind and friendly staff, comfortable futon style bed
felt a bit tired - some broken fixtures in room, tired lobby decor, old smell in hallway and common areas
