This is a small hotel with no restaurant so no breakfast on site. It was very good value for money and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again.
Our twin room was a bit small. Another time I'd book a 3 bed room.

Hotel Bell was one of the best accommodation choices I made during my Kyoto trip. The room was clean, modern, spacious, and very comfortable for a longer stay. The location was convenient while still being in a quieter area away from the busiest tourist crowds. I especially appreciated having a comfortable base to return to after long days exploring Kyoto. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything felt well maintained and welcoming.
There was very little to dislike. The hotel is not within immediate walking distance of some of Kyoto’s major attractions like Gion area, but public transport and taxis made it easy to get around. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.

Quiet neighborhood, yet central (10 minutes walk to the Central Station). The hotel doesn’t offer breakfast, but a decent coffee for free in the lobby. Staff very friendly and speaks a little English. Room small (like in all of Japan), but with only small luggage we managed. Would definitely recommend it to a friend.
We had a ground floor room, and the only window looked out on a parking garage, which made it quite dark. But then we’ve only been there to sleep.
