Very clean
The bed was hard, and it was difficult to get comfortable. The hotel was a bit far from the Kyoto station.

The size of the room and the layout. It’s a small accommodation but the room size is excellent. It’s also quiet and comfortable. Staff is very helpful too when they are there.
The light in the morning. There is no curtain on the window. It’s not a big deal though.

Overall, the stay was very pleasant. The heater near the entrance was consistently on, providing a warm and welcoming environment upon arrival. The provision of complimentary hot beverages was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. The property is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood, although it is a considerable walk from the main tourist attractions.
The only drawback was the sofa bed. It was quite firm, and the middle section made it uncomfortable to sleep on.

the room is spacious
The pillows are too soft and may provide humidifier in the room especially during autumn and winter time. I once asked the front desk staff for restaurant recommendations, he told me to go to Kyoto station for recommendations. Maybe staff can have some local restaurant options which are less touristic. Also the hotel only offers used slippers which should also consider to provide sanitisers.
