Good location, very close to Gojo subway station and about 800 m to Kyoto Train station. Lots of food/convenience around. Spacious apartment, works great for 2 people (4 people would be pushing it). The garden is wonderful to have, adds a nice natural layer to the experience. Tatami and shoji vibes are great if you’re into it. Hosts are very very helpful and good at communicating.
No reading lights in the bedroom, no curtains in the house, no couch, super low doors, super low cooker hood, small fridge. Faucets look elegant and chic but impractical/messy. Tatami floors are romantic but they stink of dust and dampness. Serious accommodation taxes in Kyoto, ask host before booking.

Really beautiful house with a lovely garden. Had good convenient appliances, like kettle, washing machine and dryer. There’s 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets, all separate!
