Authentic home in a very good location on a quiet well kept street. Uber or taxi was only $12-14 from main station. Easy to walk downtown or get the train to other parts of town. It was clean and the beds were comfortable with plenty of bedding, mats and towels. Upstairs had a small full kitchen with dishes and silverware, downstairs had a fridge and micro. The two bathrooms was a really nice feature. We had 6 of us for 3 nights and it was a very good stay.
A little more instructions (a notebook or a few cards) on how things worked and what was nearby, shopping or restaurant recommendations, how to get around etc. would have been nice.

Very lovely place. True to the pictures on the website. Very clean accommodations and fairly close to the Kyoto station.
We stayed here in the middle of winter. Very cold week. Our place had space heating for upstairs rooms but down stairs near the entry and bathrooms shower and laundry had no heat. It would have ben nice to have a space heater for the downstairs bathroom. For the host- please put hooks either on the wall or over the door. in the bathroom. We had to put a chair in the room to set our clothes on. There was no place to hang anything up. Other than that, it was a lovely stay.
