Karl was really friendly and immediately made me feel safe and welcome and explained everything very clearly. The room itself was comfortable and had everything I needed.

Had such a great stay at Karl’s, super friendly and I didn’t realise it was almost like a room share rather than a typical hotel or Airbnb but Karl and his housemates were all very friendly and even offered me free food and to watch the football with them. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a more sociable experience.

Only things would be that there were quite a few fruit flys and strange smells in the kitchen when trying to cook which was a bit off putting but everything else was top notch.

Karl was lovely, very nice to talk too. Informative and friendly. The room itself was clean ,and had plenty of storage. Partner loved the bed as it was very soft. Shared bathrooms very good. Very clean and the best shower I've had in a long time. Towels supplied were clean and fresh. Complimentary Food and drink in kitchen was a very nice touch albeit we didn't use any of it due to not using the shared kitchen . With the house being the end of the road(last house) it was quite quiet compared to the rest of the street.

Firstly I gave the location score low as when driving into the estate it looked really rough and 4 police officers came out of house opposite so was bit of a worry. The streets were not clean at all and if never seen anything like that . Also I booked this 9 months before we were going to stay so tbh I forgot the property had shared facilities so that concerned me a little. We were only there for a night so hoped it would be ok. Partner and I didn't feel comfortable using the kitchen and didn't feel comfortable having to take our shoes off as you came in the back door but due to reasons he gave as there was construction work being done in his garden he didn't want dust and mud being transferred into the house so we were ok with it for that reason. Be aware the stairs upto the room will not be suitable for everyone. Very steep ,lots of extra care needed. Although my partner loved the softness of the bed,I did not . Extremely soft but comfortable.
