only booked the room at last minute due to work commitments the owner was a very nice helpful lady the room served my purpose

the room mentioned a tv but no tv in the room i had work to do on my laptop so really didnt effect me that much .

reasonable good value and a good location for trams into the city centre plus local shops

no breakfast the location was ok for the tram and had a good selection of shop at the tram stop

Excellent value for money, ideal for a short stay solo traveller.

Good location near Manor Top tram stop. The host was very friendly and welcomed me on arrival, offering tea or coffee while I unpacked. The accommodation was clean and well kept, and the bed was comfortable. I was even offered tea and toast in the morning before check out. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Walls are like paper, I was woken up at 6 am and then at 7 and couldn’t fall asleep again, because of the other person next to my room, I don’t know what was happening there but sound was like it was happening next to me ear And no TV in my room, but I heard it in the other room

Booking.com should not allow hosts like that advertise on their website. Extremely rude, you're forced to clean everything yourself with bleach etc, rules like in a prison sell, will not allow you to park your car as there's enough parking just for one car and that's for the home owner only, will not allow you to use the kitchen apart from the kettle. I ended up sleeping in the car, that's how bad this place was.

Being woken up to be told about check-out time & not to smoke in the room WHEN I DON'T EVEN SMOKE!? As there may be many things to tell occupants, perhaps a sheet in the room may be a less disruptive method to do that. House on busy road so quite noisy but i could get up early.

A comfortable, great value for money stay, with a superb warm host who is patient and accommodating!

The host was friendly and warm, and very patient with me as someone who hadn't homeshared like this before. That was really appreciated! She helped me know how to follow house rules, which were minimal and logical, and was open to feedback. The house is a short walking distance from a good sized supermarket and tram stop which connects to the heart of the city. The bathroom has a dehumidifier which was a real comfort since as a heat-absorbing person. The shower and bath were easy to use. The host made sure my room's radiator was off before I came, which was a real help for my health, and the shared living area and kitchen were comfy and well tidied, with space in the fridge for my supplies. The host and I got on so well that I'm definitely coming back!

If you're a very sensitive sleeper, you may struggle, but it could easily just be me. Seemingly my fellow guest was a bit heavy on the wooden floor as I felt the vibrations for a long time one night. That said, this stay was ridiculously, wonderfully low priced, and when I was alone the next night I slept like a dream. I didn't really mention being new to housestays so I ended up having questions to ask through my time but sometimes had to guess at stuff - perhaps a small guide to things would be a way to solve that!
