Appalling. No contact from host, wasn’t able to access apartment left in the freezing cold.

I am writing regarding my booking for last night at your apartment. Upon arrival, I followed the provided check-in instructions and accessed the lockbox for the flat. However, I discovered that there was no key inside either lockbox marked ‘24’, which meant I was unable to access the apartment. I immediately attempted to contact the host using the phone number provided on Booking.com, as well as through Crown Residence, but unfortunately all attempts were unsuccessful. As I had no way to enter the property and could not reach anyone for assistance, I was left with no choice but to book alternative accommodation elsewhere at short notice. As the apartment was inaccessible and the stay could not take place due to this issue, I am requesting a full refund for this booking. I would appreciate your prompt confirmation and assistance in resolving this matter.

Used sanitary products left in bathroom bin, strong sewage smell coming out of plug in shower. Electrics kept tripping,very cold heaters hanging off wall.could not use freezer as all iced up and door wouldn’t shut.rubbish left from previous people and dirty pots left in oven in kitchen.no sheets for sofa beds. Very noisy on night from flat above

Unsafe, unclean and a trrrible host.

Good location

We paid nearly £50 for early check-in but upon entry we entered the code for the lockbox to find the key was missing. We contacted the host who was dismissive and unhelpful. When we finally managed to get in touch she told us to go upstairs where there cleaners were still cleaning, who then told us we need to wait half an hour before we could enter the apartment. Upon entry the apartment had not been cleaned to a good standard as there was dirty laundry stuffed in a cupboard, litter on the floors and a bad smell. After trying several times trying to get in touch with the host regarding the missing key she told us she would “try and sort it”. We then heard nothing from her and was left with no choice but to leave our valuable belongings in the car that was parked a 10 minute walk away. We then had to leave the apartment unlocked with the rest of our belongings while we went out meaning we were late to our planned event. Upon return there was still no key in the lock box and we had no choice but to sleep in an unsecured apartment leaving a group of young girls feeling very vulnerable and unsafe. Communication from the host was virtually non-existent during our entire stay and we have since tried to get in touch regarding our experience and are now being ignored. We would not recommend this apartment at all.

Clean and spacious Comfortable too Only problem was a smell in both bathrooms It didn’t particularly spoil our stay. The door was unlocked when we got there and we had to leave it unlocked as there was no key
