The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable and the bar area was homely.
The shower bath was a little old, the bath panel was coming away from the bath and was very dated, maybe a bit of paint would make it better? Or just replace it with a walk in shower? The walls in my room were marked and had dents in them. One of our rooms were not cleaned properly and the bathroom was not cleaned from the previous occupier.

The staff here are exceptional, they are friendly helpful, warm funny and relaxed, and go out of their way to help you with anything at all. Great fun, frankly you feel like family for the few days you are there,. Every best luck to the new Scottish owner we chatted to this morning, whatever you are doing with staff keep doing it!
Nothing really, the breakfast could be maybe a tad better organised but who cares when the place is spotless and the staff lovely

Ali was very welcoming and helpful, my room was amazing and I would highly recommend.
The Buffett was great value for money and had a great selection.
Overall I had a very relaxing stay

Location, attentiveness of staff
Lift not working, expected it to be fixed as was not working 7 months ago when we first stayed. And we were on second floor!!
Beds absolutely awful.
Couldn’t get heating to kick in.
Didn’t like sharing yoghurt pots and butter pot with other guests. Avocado was unripe so had been microwaved- inedible!
