Walked in to the cleanest pub I have ever visited! It is modern, open plan and fresh! There is no food apart from an excellent cooked breakfast but they allow takeaway food in the pub and provide plates/cutlery. Very friendly and helpful! Rooms are small but very cosy and a comfortable bed! Although situated on a busy high road I never heard the traffic from my room!

I stay here at least once a month and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else The level of service is unbeatable, the rooms are clean and comfortable the location is great for walking into the town for dinner and the staff are some of the friendliest people I’ve met

Overall pretty good , bit noisy when in room from outside speakers . Wi-Fi connection not great. Room nice , bathroom bit small . Will stay again

We received a very friendly welcome and the room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was large and tasty. Just be aware that the pub is understandably noisy while it is open, so it may not suit someone who is looking for an early night!

Lovely and polite service. Amazing breakfast. No dinner available so needs to be a walk and check opening times of the restaurants as during my visit a lot were closed! Take ear plugs as the music from the pub can be quite loud if you want an early night. Bathroom was very small but was fine for my use during my stay.

My room was clean, shower was amazing! Staff were friendly and very helpful and made an amazing full English breakfast. On site parking was very handy. Would I stay here again? Definitely 👍

Great location, friendly staff and recently renovated rooms. Will be booking here again for future stop overs, staff did everything in their capacity to make my stay as comfortable as possible - even made breakfast half an hour early!

The Halfway house was clean and warm and staff very helpful and nice. The only down side was my room was above the pub and i could hear music etc till the pub closed. Even with ear plugs you could not sleep. sorry every thing else was good.
