Breakfast was a very good traditional breakfast, there were choices to tick, but I preferred the full English breakfast.
It is in an ideal location with free parking, I spoke with a staff member and she parked her car there to keep me a space. I went on my own to a do to see a group perform and everyone was so friendly, so if you want to have a good night out and somewhere different, or even meet some friends there.
Food was reasonably priced and good and pints of lager and spirits were cheaper than where I live in Yorkshire.
Nothing, the rooms are tastefully furnished and there is everything you need, the bed is so comfortable and good quality.

Good location . Parking available . Clean . Staff very friendly and accomadating . Bed was comfy and shower lovely .
Room was too warm for me but not for my husband 🤣🤣We chose the downstairs room probably not a good idea as if we opened the window would be able to hear all the traffic noise .

It was perfectly located for what we needed and significantly cheaper, and with more modern facilities than competing Premier Inn and Travelodge options.
The rooms are in a recently renovated building adjacent to the main pub. The main pub is where breakfast is served on a morning, and cooked to order.
The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the housekeeper cooked and amazing breakfast!!
The rooms were really comfortable and surgically clean, and as you’d expect with a newly renovated building, the en-suite facilities were stunning.
As much as the room (room 5) and the en-suite were beautifully renovated, the Wi-Fi was poor and the en-suite shower didn’t work properly.
The Wi-Fi coverage in the room was intermittent and therefore all the internet TV options available (Netflix etc) were hit and miss…(I got halfway through a film one night and it suddenly stopped). This wasn’t just a one off, this appeared to be every evening after 11pm - it was as though as soon as the pub closed the internet was switched off.
The en-suite shower pressure dropped off completely after about 30 seconds and in order to clean yourself , you had to keep turning the shower off and on again so the system built pressure up to allow water to drop from the shower head. When the issue was reported to staff on day one of a three day stay, sadly nothing was immediately done about it. I wasn’t offered an alternative room and even when I demonstrated the fault to the owner on check out, I wasn’t offered a reduction in my bill that had been paid in full, in advance.
