Il Rifugio del Re

The entrance of the hotel definitely doesn’t reflect the true quality and value of the property. Once inside, we were very pleasantly surprised. The room had everything we needed and even some useful extras, such as a hairdryer and a heated towel rail. There is also a beautiful common area with a balcony, which was extremely clean, organized and very well equipped. We didn’t need to use it during our stay, but it was a really nice space. The receptionist was extremely kind and attentive. Since we needed to check in later than the hotel’s usual check-in time (around 10:30 PM), she contacted me directly and made sure everything was arranged. She welcomed us with a smile, showed us everything carefully, and gave us detailed information about public transportation, nearby tourist attractions, restaurants, and the surrounding area. The location is also excellent: close to the train, tourist attractions, and plenty of affordable places to eat. Considering the price, location, facilities and especially the service, the property offers excellent value for money.

Only very minor details. The air conditioning felt a little weak considering the summer heat and the large size of the room. However, the room still became cool and comfortable, so it wasn’t really a problem for us. There was also a small mini fridge/freezer inside the room that didn’t get very cold. It was fine for keeping things slightly cooler, but not as cold as we expected. However, there is a shared refrigerator in the common kitchen that works very well and gets properly cold. These are really small details and, considering the price, excellent location and overall quality of the stay, I don’t see them as significant negatives.

Absolutely perfect for a few days in Rome. Great location only 1 metro stop from Termini station or 10 minutes to walk. The rooms are modern, super clean and the bed is very comfortable. Friendly staff also. I will try here first next time I come to Rome.

Fica pertinho de Roma Termini, o que foi um grande acerto. O quarto é espaçoso, assim como o banheiro, e as instalações são limpas e seguras. Com certeza me hospedaria novamente nesse Rifugio.

Não teve algo que não gostei.

Muy muy cómodo, bien equipado con un armario con muchas baldas y suficientes perchas. Un escritorio con sillas y un hervidor de agua. Mesitas a cada lado de la cama con dos cajones muy espaciosos y enchufes. Tele que funcionaba bien y sobre todo (lo más importante en verano) un buen aire acondicionado. Destacar también la buena limpieza, buena atención al cliente, rápido y resolutivo. Acceso fácil y bien explicado. Buena ubicación a 10/15 min del coliseo y 20/30 min de la fontana di trevi caminando.

Haría falta una limpieza en la ducha porque había restos de cal en la alcachofa y cristal. Alguna toalla no estaba limpia del todo cuando pedimos que nos las cambiasen. La cafetera no funcionaba bien. Como mejora, añadiría leche para poder beber el café (no sólo tener la opción de expreso). Buena ubicación aunque el barrio no fuese el más seguro para caminar de noche.
