Thank you Cozy Corner ✨️
The property was cozy, just as advertised, and the bedroom (Room 2) was impressively spacious. Our autistic son, who usually becomes homesick quite easily, settled in so well that night. We were also grateful for the small fan provided, as the white noise helped him sleep comfortably. The beds were also comfortable, and we all enjoyed a great night’s rest. The place felt secure, homely, and easy to locate on maps. The host was welcoming too, which made the stay even better.
The kitchen was fully equipped, which we really appreciated. We did feel it could benefit from a deeper clean, though this wasn’t a major concern for us since we only stayed one night and prepared a simple breakfast the next morning. We also only used a few plates and utensils. This didn’t affect our stay overall, and we remained very happy with the experience.

Bargain for price paid if you don’t mind sharing bathroom
The price was brilliant as I was on a budget with the added bonus of a pet friendly room! No extra charge for the pet either which is unusual and very much appreciated. Friendly check in and after locking myself out of the room in the morning, the gentleman rushed to the property to let me into my room.

A trip to Stoke on a Wednesday in January
Cleanliness Friendliness of other customers
Shared bathroom - would have preferred own facilities, this did not affect my stay it's just my opinion.

Basic, good value.
Very good value, clean, good lay out.
Door code is not user friendly, it was raining very heavily, NO shelter, having to read a long access code from mobile phone, while phone & self getting absolutely drenched. Also parking is not practical, but understandable. Not disabled friendly, No TV, available. ☹️

Cheap, cheerful, and just a bit weird
Friendly proprietor, who noticed a speck of dust on the bedcover on my assigned room, and immediately upgraded me to a much bigger room at the front. Bedcover was thick and warm on a cold Northern English winter night. Very cheap!
Location is in a slightly remote corner of town. The one bathroom and toilet is downstairs through the kitchen - a long walk if you wake in the night. Some strange people - not apparently guests - were making use of one of the shared sitting areas when I came down in the morning; it didn't feel completely secure.

It wasn’t clean, didn’t feel safe
We didn’t end up staying due to poor cleanliness

Sam is an absolute delight, I cannot fault him as a host, however I felt this was more like student digs than a hotel st
Easy to find, clean and tidy
The advert says you have the place to yourself, which you don’t because you’re sharing with others. I hadn’t realised it was a communal bathroom, kitchen and living room. I could’ve coped with the kitchen and living room but not with the bathroom. I did not like the glass on the bedroom door, as much as it was stained beautifully, you could clearly see into the bedroom which did not make me feel comfortable at all, especially as we were located in the hallway right next to the living room.

Decent
Sam was a very gracious host and accommodated us very well. He got in touch with us and was easy to communicate with and happy for us to arrive very late when we had been held up on our travels. The rooms were a decent size and sufficient for 1 night stay. The bathroom, towels and sheets were clean and fresh. Instructions and house rules were clear and easy to understand. Parking was on street but very easy to get a park right outside and the location was pretty central and so accessible to a lot of things (by car at least, as this is how we travelled). The cost of the rooms was great value.
The followingnis provided as feesback to help improve the experience as opposed to a negative critisim overall as we only stayed one night. We had booked 2 rooms out of this house. It may be an idea to just book the whole house if people are booking more than one room so they can comfortably have the place to themselve and should be adertised as such. This is all the more relevent when guests are travelling with children as the other guests in the 3rd room may prefere to spend their time outside the room enjoying the house and it is difficult to stay with children in a communal accommodation without worrying about disturbing other guests or being disturbed by other guests. This is particularly relevant for stays of more than one night. The rooms themselves need bedside lamps and extra blankets and pillows provided. Larger towels for showering, a small towel for hair or hands and face clothes should also be provided to each guest in each room as the bathroom is a shared one amoung all the guests. Hair dryers should be provided in each room and a kettle with cups and tea/coffee facilities in the rooms would be a nice touch as the kitchen is shared and this may be awkward to use when their are different guests in each of the rooms. The single bed in the triple room was quite small anad the mattress was extremely soft and misshapen. But the double beds were very comfortable. There were mini fridges in the rooms which were a nice touch but unfortunately the one in our room was mouldy inside.. if cleaned and little complimentary drinks or water bottles added would be a lovely touch.
