Townhouse @ Bucknall New Road Stoke

This accommodation is a self catering place, which is adequate for my needs.

The toilet facilities would be better if they were in the rooms.

clean and comfortable room(s), the property manager Amanda, was very friendly and helpful. good value for money.

check in was a bit of a pain. ended up in two different rooms. light in second room didnt work.

we actually booked in at a different location. the staff handled it so well and offered us a different one when there was a hiccup with the other one. really lovely room, clean and nice. shared kitchen but it’s a big size, toilets and bathrooms but there are a few. this is the one in Shelton Hanley not bucknall I’m talking about.

the heater wasn’t working so it was quiet cold through the night.

The room itself was clean and relatively comfortable.

It’s almost impossible to get in touch with the owner/management. I tried to book one night prior to my arrival and just gave up. There was no key in the lockbox when I arrived, and only after waiting for 30 mins outside did they tell another tenant to open the door for me. The communal areas are smelly and unclean. Everything is sticky and in need of a thorough clean in the kitchen. I wouldn’t cook in there. Lots of noise from other residents in the house. This is budget living, and although the room itself is ok, the house is grim.
