Good value for money. The facilities are good (shared kitchen of a good size), and the en-suite room (Room 3) is clearly quite modern/recently refurbished. Great if just for a one-night stay where you will stay in your room/the property throughout the whole night.

The location. It's not a particularly good/safe neighbourhood, especially at night. Had people occasionally make noise, play music, and even shout until late at night, with doors also getting loudly shut. In one instance, a door was shut/hit with such strength, it shook the whole room. It was so strong/close that it felt like it could have been my own room's door. At one point the front doorbell kept ringing, as if people from outside were trying to get in (or getting invited) into the property. Overall, it put me off going for a night out in Hanley as I had initially planned.

Location was good

Parking was awkward because of parking permit situation. No glass for water in bedroom. No cups or glasses in kitchen. No bedside light.
