We stayed at the property as a stop over on our way back from Scotland to Cornwall. The property was very clean, peaceful (even in a shared house with 3 other apartment rooms) and in a quiet area just off the main busy through road. The hosts were very helpful and communicative and made finding and getting into the property very easy and stress-free. There was a shared kitchen and lounge area, however, this was not a negative point as the both were equipped with what we needed (tea, coffee, utensils, fridge-freezer, etc.). The property is only a mile or so away from the town centre, and we found that there were some good local restaurants and pubs (we went to The Quarter at Potbank and highly recommend). All in all, a very pleasant stay and we will definitely look to stay there again on future trips.
If I had to mention anything 'negative' it would be that there is limited parking directly at the property (i.e. the driveway can only accommodate 2 cars), although there was ample (free) parking very near by around the rear of the property. We also had a very slight problem with the door to the room in that it would stick and needed a bit of force to open/close, meaning that it could be a little noisy for other guests when we were arriving/leaving the room, however, it was not a serious concern and appeared to be one that can be easily remedied (sanding of top of door). These comments are being really picky and did not detract away from a very pleasant stay.

Location was fine, not far from where we needed to meet our friends. Didn't really explore much as it was just for getting our heads down and having some food but it met all our needs. Kitchen was great.
There was no bin apart from the little one in the bathroom, and there was a few ants in the kitchen but they weren't any bother. It was a heatwave at the time and it happens. Some shampoo, conditioners and some shower gel would have been nice to have.

We liked the efficient + helpful communications to prepare for our stay . We also appreciated the easy access to the property . We found an excellent level of cleanliness throughout the property . Good facilities throughout and excellent location + parking .

I had an excellent stay and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this property. The host, Gift, was outstanding, highly responsive, thoughtful, and exceptionally kind. He even took the extra step of dropping me off at the train station, which was greatly appreciated. The en-suite room was cozy, well-kept, and felt very much like home. The house is beautiful, immaculately maintained, smells amazing, and has a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere. The location is ideal and a perfect choice for both convenience and comfort. I would highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again.
