Great location, not far from Auckland. Perfect family get away. The kids enjoyed it very much! The place was Clean and beds were super comfortable, the view was magnificent. It is definitely peaceful ☺️ Thank you for letting us stay during Christmas holidays. Not a far drive from Waipu beach which is a plus. Tom was very kind letting the kids feed the Guinea Fowl - their highlight. Thank you Tom & Pam!

A perfect stop to rest and refresh on our trip home, with endless cup refills and amazing value for money.

A hidden gem. We loved the beautiful views that instantly put us at ease after such a long drive. Hearing the animals around us made it feel calm and grounded, like we were part of the landscape.

I’m nitpicking but I ended up in a bunk bed since I gave the main room to my daughters. It wasn’t the most comfortable for me, but it felt right making sure they had the space they needed.

A perfect place to chill, relax and recharge.

Staying here with the stunning bush clad hills and sea views was good for the soul. Our granddaughter had the opportunity to feed the farm animals (geese, ducks, guinea fowls chickens etc) which she loved. Handy to Waipu township and to Whangarei.

Fabulous views to wake up to. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The tiny home had everything I needed and it was such a bonus to be able to bring my dogs.

This is a lovely country spot, very quiet except for the delightful calls of guinea fowl.

Location was elevated with lovely views and full sun. Bed was excellent, as was the shower. The whole house was fresh and airy.

Breakfast was not provided and we had some difficulty cooking because of an unfamiliar hotplate without instructions. The microwave was therefore a boon, although a good sized microwaveable dish would have been useful.

Would definitely come again and again

Absolutely stunning place to wake up in the morning. A million dollar view! You won’t want to leave it. The cabin is beautiful, modern, clean, and warm (esp in NZ winter). It has everything you need. The rooms are separated by living area which is so good when you traveling with the kids. Enjoyed our lil getaway from Auckland. 10 out of 10!

Highly recommended and very relaxing, definitely one of a kind experience 💯

Everything about this place is beautiful 👌🏽 You feel on top of the world being situated so high up in the mountains. Definitely very peaceful and private with amazing views. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Your free to walk around the property and if you have kids the owner offers to allow them to feed the Guinea Fowls with them 🙂
