There were no fly screens on the windows so you couldn’t have the windows open without flies and mosquitos coming in.

Immaculately clean and comfortable property. Dave and Amanda went the extra mile with real attention to detail. The fridge was stocked with water and milk. Tea and coffee facilities were great, and the bowl of fresh fruit was a real treat. Dave was friendly and welcoming. Driftwood was a delight!

Driftwood is in a lovely rural setting. It is superbly setup with everything you could think of. A very spacious and quiet unit. Having two bedroom suited us perfectly and would also be great for a family. Loved that we could bring our wee doggie with us.

A quiet, spacious and comfortable rural retreat.

The location is rural, pleasant and quiet. It is a few kms out from Mangawai, and some of that is on a gravel road. The unit is very spaciois, well furnished, with comfortable beds. It was good to have fresh fruit available.

Not something I actually disliked, but I’m used to having herbal teas as well as a choice of plain and Earl Grey tea in most accommodation. The bench top oven was a bit heavy to lift from the shelf where it lives.

Brilliant Hosts and a fantastic place to stay!

The Hosts were incredibly generous and hospitable helping us with some Car Problems! Nice big double beds with a massive smart TV with all streaming platforms available. Free and Fast internet connection with great cooking facilities that are simple and easy to use.
