nothing , not even finding the door key in a key box where there was not even lighting to see what you were doing had to put phone torch on

I read the booking.com advert wrong , i thought it said private ensuite bathroom but it didn't it was a shared bathroom, the room they allocated to me only had access from one side as the bed was against a wall one side and and the head and bottom of bed were touching the other two walls . there was no coffee or tea making facilities in the room , the bed looked like it had already been slept in , and as for the free car parking , it was free if you could find somewhere to park it in the street , though i had paid in advance £55 i believe it was , i didn't stay and ended up paying another £68 to stay at a motorway services on the M27 . would not recommend , had no face to face with host as i would have asked for a full refund .

Good value

Lovely house, very clean and well decorated. On street parking can get a bit busy as it's a residential area, but great value. Good communication from the host. Didn't see them as the key is in a lock box in the garden, but all instructions were sent via email. My daughter has recently moved to Southampton. We stayed here after travelling from up North, before heading to Weymouth for the week with her and her boyfriend. Great for 1 night. The kitchen can only be used for making tea and coffee, but this was no problem as we went out for tea and for breakfast. The bathroom was very clean, considering it's shared.

A nice place to stay before the cruise.

Exceptionally clean and tidy. We had the super king room for one night, prior to departing on a cruise. The check-in process is good, you have to follow the instructions carefully. The house is in a nice location with on-street parking, which could get busy, but we managed to park close enough. The house is well decorated and very chic! Kitchen and dining room available for use. The super-king room we stayed in was large and very clean and nicely decorated. However the room facilities were very basic, the only furniture being a large four-poster bed, 2 bedside cabinets and a single chair. No soft furnishings other than the bed. Overall, we found it a good place to stop-over for our cruise.

We stayed in mid-October and, other than the household central heating (which was turned off) there was no heater in the room, so everywhere felt quite cold which detracted from what otherwise would have been a pleasant stay. The house is non-attended so no staff. We didn't see another soul during our stay.

The house is beautiful. The check-in is easy. The host was very attentive and answered questions straight away.

Shared bathroom with strangers: I can't remember the last time I had that. Four people had to share one bathroom; it was not great, especially in the morning. The free parking indicates that parking is available on the premises; however, it is located in a very busy residential area. Last but not least, cleanliness. The room was dusty, the sheets were wrinkled, and there was little love in this place. The kitchen, in particular, could do with some deep cleaning.

The bathroom is shared, so do ensure that you have your own toilet wipes or shower sprays to use, if you are concerned about that sort of thing. But the bathroom was clean.
