I hardly can mention something

The bed is stuck to the wall, the room is very small actually. There is a strong smell of mold, there is no wardrobe and no place for luggage. The shower is spraying water everywhere due to a broken hose. The shower tiles are moldy. The room is very noisy due to the pub and club downstairs. The stairs are very narrow and difficult to use. The locks are quite tricky to operate. Be aware that there is no reception. The area is very dirty. I will definitely avoid this place and I strongly do not recommend it. It should not be listed in Bookings.com.

Well equipped apartment for a short stay

Perfect 2 bed for a one night stay. Well equipped apartment. Despite it not having parking, we got parked in a side street without any problem.

The only thing missing about the apartment is a sofa. The area is also not very nice, the apartment block is between a row of late bars/clubs.

Unclean, Noisy and Overall Dissatisfied for the price we paid!

My stay was extremely disappointing. There was rubbish all around the entrance and to the side of the door, and the area smelled strongly of food whenever the windows were opened. There was no car park available, even though this wasn’t made clear beforehand. Inside, the shower handle was missing, the floors were sticky and stained, and it was obvious they hadn’t been properly cleaned. The windows were dirty, and the kitchen counters still had crumbs on them when I arrived. The state of the apartment left us wondering if the beds were even clean! We went to the shops and bought our own blankets to sleep ontop of as we had got there and couldn’t book anything else. To make things worse, there was loud nightclub music playing until around 12:30 a.m., making it impossible to sleep. The Wi-Fi didn’t work throughout my stay, and when I messaged the landlord about all these issues, I received no reply. Overall, this was a very poor experience and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Good clean property for a budget stay. Will come again as long as it’s not a basement room

Easy to locate, near the bus station, clean space, wifi was good and strong, heater was comfortable and the availablity of toiletries and towels were appreciated. We were there for just one night and liked the place. The booking staff were also responsive and helpful

The basement room which we were allowed had a ceiling window with motion sensor lights right above the bed. Pretty much all night the light kept going on and off as people walked and we couldn’t get a proper sleep. That was the only one thing we didn’t like. Also there are usually no elevators so if you have large suitcases be mentally prepared to haul them up and down. It wasn’t a problem for us as we didn’t have any large bags

Scrupulously clean, well appointed, convenient stay

Our studio apartment was incredibly clean and well equipped with everything for even a longer stay than our one night. In addition to the well-appointed kitchen and bathroom, there was tea and coffee and even hot chocolate sachets ( sadly, we didn’t get to drink it): always the sign of a good accommodation. Toiletries were a pleasant surprise (although we didn’t need them). There was a lovely little table for eating or, in my case, doing make-up! The door code entry system is modern and easy to use.

Bevois Valley Rd is very noisy and, on our night, so were some other residents, so I would recommend taking ear plugs. We stayed because we were going to an event at a nearby pub but, in general, be prepared for a less than salubrious area of Southampton (although it has its charms…) A few bits of feedback on room 4: the clock needs new batteries and the battery lamp thing didn’t work and would have been welcome. Hooks for towels on the bathroom door would be really helpful.

Clean and well kept with amenities fairly close. Electric locks were temperamental.

The electric lock was temperamental. It would give me a failed entry before I had entered the code. With three tryst the alarm would sound leaving me standing awkwardly outside. The area was not the safest, but there were resources close bye.

Lovely suite, smart and clean. Good parking and location. Unfortunately for me the Hobbit Pub is close by and it was student night and a very warm one, so a bit noisy in the beer garden until the small hours. But I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Clean and well-presented. Kitchen had a good selection of crockery and cooking utensils. Each room had a fan which was welcome in warmer weather. Easy access instructions and a useful property manual.

The stairs to our unit were quite narrow and steep. This wasn't an issue for us per se, but you have to be careful when carrying luggage up and down.

Location for an event at the Hobbit was perfect. Great communication, easy check in, the room was well equipped and spotless. The little patio area was a bonus too.

We were on the 1st floor and having to use the municipal parking across the road, meant we had to store our luggage in the entrance area, as there wasn't a lift and the stairs were very steep.

Staying at bevois apartment Southampton.

The bed was comfy and was able to get a nice breeze with the window right above the bed and was able to have them open fully which was very welcomed on a hot night. It was a spacious apartment

The shower was powerless and dribbled out. Which was dissapointing. the bath math was still wet from previous occupants. Also was mouldy. Alot of shoe scuff marks on the walls in the bedroom and marks in the kitchen/dining area. And only 2 tea bags on offer for 2 people. (For evening and morning) was not enough.

The brushed cotton sheets in a heatwave. One fan for the whole property and no sofa or comfortable seating in the apartment. The flat wasn’t as clean as I’d have expected. Toothpaste all over the sink and tap. Noisy busy area.

Room in an extremely noisy area, sourranded by pubs with live music and dj. there was a live band playing loud music till late at night and I could not sleep till late at night (3am). Overall, not very clean Uncomfortable bed (got shoulder pain)

Very practical stay

Property was very clean, well equipped.

However, very noisy because of night life. Air con really noisy (we didn't have any) host as helpful as he could be. Room quite hot and uncomfortable. We stood the fan on the bin in the corner which drowned out some of the other noise and helped with the heat situation.

Overnight stay before Cruise

Apartment No1 ,was immaculate on arrival.All fittings cooker, fridge freezer, furniture,utensils and crockery was brand new even a washing machine was in the apartment.We met the owners who were very friendly and obliging. What we appreciated was access to the outside rear garden, where garden table and chairs was available. Obviously No smoking signs in apartment but *no* smoking sign in garden a Strong Sturdy ashtray was available.Thank you. Apartment small and compact, Ideal for our needs

On arrival surprised the apartment allocated was downstairs from ground floor, but the benefits was over and beyond, quiet, very easy access to garden.

Clean and comfy

Cute little unit - ideal for a 2 day/night stay. The unit was super clean, and the bed was comfortable. Thank you for allowing us to check in earlier after my eye surgery. Great location as busstop and shop is within walking distance. Loved the colour scheme and coffee and sugar availability.

Parking was a bit of an issue. We were lucky to park in front of the units and where we needed to go. I recommend a bigger fan/portable air-conditioning as the one provided is way too small for the heat coming in from the sun and street, even with windows and blinds closed. Also, consider adding another set op pillows as 1 pillow each is a bit sparse.

A top stay

Everything you need for a short stay. Loved having the kitchen to make breakfast and cook up a pizza from nearby Aldi. Super clean, and comfortable bed. Well designed space. Location handy to walk into town, or nearby train station. Shops, restaurants and takeaways on your doorstep. Buses stop moments away. Small but perfectly formed. Highly recommended, and will stay again when next in Southampton.

The road is busy and therefore can be a bit noisy. Not a pretty location, and nearby pubs will be noisy at the weekends. An acceptable tradeoff for the standard of accommodation.

The apartment was clean.

The beds were rock hard, pillows were so thin they weren't comfortable at all and the apartment was incredibly hot. We couldn't open the windows due to safety catches which is understandable but a fan would have helped with the heat.
