Michela's house

Le camere sono spaziose, con soffitti alti (il che è stato positivo durante le torride giornate di luglio). Una delle camere si affaccia su viale Talenti, ma il sistema della porta-finestra a doppia chiusura scherma molto bene i rumori del traffico. La posizione è perfetta per visitare la zona Isolotto (come era mia intenzione), sia per il centro della città, grazie alla vicinissima fermata tramvia Batoni. Gli host, molto carinamente, avevano previsto dell' acqua in frigo e una spesina alimentare per almeno il primo giorno di permanenza.

Nessuna delle mie aspettative iniziali è stata disattesa.

The location is with good transport connection. There are Pizza restaurants and shops nearby. Maihaela is very polite and nice girl. It was very clean and comfy.

It was very clean. The host left us a small welcome pack of water, a couple of tins of soft drinks, pasta & bottle of sauce, and some crackers which was very thoughtful. It was close to the tram stop for the line to the main SMN train station. It was quicker to walk to central Florence & the main attractions, although be aware it is a good 40-55 minute walk into the centre and we are regular walkers.

It was very noisy which made it difficult to sleep. Noise from the traffic on the roads, the tram and a barking dog. We could hear the neighbours tv and them coughing. No shelves in the bathroom, although there are screws to indicate there was at one time. The apartment is tired and could do with a refurbishment. It is definitely not what we would call superior. The only communal place is around the small table in the kitchen on very hard, uncomfortable chairs.
